^^I would definitely play T.Suman. Either in place of Satish or in one of the local bowler's slot! Also, there is a chance that Franklin plays instead of Davy Jacobs, assuming that Rayudu will keep like he did last year! So my team would be:

Sachin Tendulkar (captain)
Ambati Rayudu (wk)
Rohit Sharma
Andrew Symonds
Kieron Pollard
James Franklin

T Suman (Might open with Sachin instead of Rayudu)
R Satish
Harbhajan Singh
Munaf Patel
Lasith Malinga

I believe Mumbai probably has the strongest team in the tournament, at least on paper.

Davy Jacobs is an outstanding. We have seen his stroke plays in Champions League last year. On the other hand, James Franklin is out of form, you all saw that in World cup 2011. So Jacobs is must. :cheers

I can include T Suman instead of R Satish. But Sachin will keep faith in Satish more, due to his awesome fielding.

Kieron Pollard will miss the five-match series against Pakistan because he wants to play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. That's a good thing from WI board to allow him to make choice, unlike Sri Lankan Board. :clap

Exactly. :thumbs

However important you may be to an IPL team, you can never have IPL as your priority over your national duties.

I guess the patriotic factor for the West Indians are pretty much low given the fact that they are a bunch of countries in one , so not surprised by his WI snub .

For players, national duty should always have weightage over IPL. That's why BCCI and ICC should not keep any ICC tournaments during IPL, so everyone will be benefited.

Anyways, Mumbai Indians will miss Malinga but they will have BIG Pollard to rescue. :cheers
