In reply to Bengal's 1st innings score we started positively and reached score of 50 with loss of one wicket, at 65 we lost our second wicket and I came out to bat and added 51 with sandhu before he ran out, at 116/3 we were still comfortable but then we lost next 4 wickets for 45 runs. I didn't panic and kept on scoring at strike rate of 120 and reached my 50 and then a well deserved 100, I got out after scoring 129 and most importantly added 107 runs for the 8th wicket with Abdul and Kept Bengal's lead to less then 100.

we lost the game by 55 runs, while chasing the target of 426 we added 121 for the first wicket, I got out after scoring 56. our batsman tried their best but couldn't reach the target and we bowled out for 370

Finally made it to Indian test team for the England's tour of india.
1st Test
we won the toss and elected to bat first
India 1st Innings 471 allout
Eng 1st Innings 554 allout

I scored a double 100 on my test debut it was innings of pure aggression

After the dream debut I struggled in next 2 games.
12,18,14,4.
We lost the series 2-1,

Cook won the toss and elected to bat first and this is what cook did

In reply we bowled out for 287 with me scoring a 100 on debut.

After Eng scored 407, we wanted to start with a bang and we did but then we lost 3 quick wickets and our chase was over, as I was not able score quickly, so I concentrated on my personal goal of scoring a ton on debut ...

That's great. Congrats. Would you mind sharing your footwork approach to play the cover drive there? Seems like you have a lot of success in that region. I seem to be nicking a lot irrespective of my footwork. Thanks

Directly 12 o clock, or any deviation there with the left stick? When I stand out of the crease against pacers, the keeper throws it back and runs me out every time. I push the retreat button but the player doesn't go back after a leave.
