So guys, I am finally soon enough building up a gaming rig for myself. I am a bit tight on a budget hence I've thought long to build this. With only 4 days left in exams I'm not more than 10 days away from this.:)

Intel Pentium Dual core E2160
Biostar TP35D2-A7
2 Gig's RAM
9600GT
Dell 22" monitor

Now I wanted to go with the E8200 but I know it will come drastically down in price soon when new stocks arrive + Intel's 20 April price cut. So I am waiting with this processor. PLanning to overclock it to 3.2 GHZ. :D

I am pretty excited about this rig. How about you? :D

pretty nice kshitiz!!

trust you to build a good system :)

infact, i bought a new comp just 4 days ago!! E8400 !! Will try to overclock it to atleast 3.6 ghz..

i guess E2160 is highly overclockable?? Best of luck with your rig mate :)

sweet pc bro
im getting a e2180
2 gigs ram
gigabyte nvidia 650 sli
2x 9600gt
pretty nice eh. im custom building it.

Punk, Its costing about 40000 INR. Sorry but you have to convert it yourself. Do keep in mind that I'm taking lot of other goodies with it too, like MS Wireless Keyboard/Mouse and Altec Lansing ATP3.

Wow Abhas. The e8400 should easily overclockable past 4GHZ if you got a good mobo. :) Ask me if any help required. :)

And yes, the E2160 is a terrific overclocker, I'm waiting with it for the E8000 series prices to go down. I know some would say that why Biostar and why not ASUS or MSI, but the thing is This board is cheap, and it fits my overclocking needs(easily takes 400+FSB) :). And thanks. :)

I'll get back with benchmarks and other things as soon as I get it. Maybe some pics too. :D

kshitiz.. the mobo is nothing exceptional...
ASUS P5N MX. I hope i can overclock a bit using this mobo. (i don't expect to be able to push it past 4 ghz.. even around 3.5 will make me happy :p)

Help would be required for sure, coz i'm a newbie to overclocking, and you are quite experienced ;)

Dude.. how much did u get the Biostar m/b for?? U've got to tell me where (which dealer) u got your comp from ;)

What cooling solution have you installed?? stock cooling??

I havent got it yet. :D But I will soon(In 3-4 days)

The Biostar mobo is available for around Rs. 4000 from abacus peripherals in Nehru place. ;)

And yes, I will use stock cooling.

Uh hoh. I am not really sure about this mobo. :( To get around 3.5 GHZ, you'll need around 9*400 FSB. You can try it. PM me for more help on overclocking. :)

Wow how sweet man, you can so get high res on that awesome setup dude, lets have a lan party at yours next weekend.

lol I think Hooper was taking the mick out of how seriously you take having a good PC.

I don't get why though? Kshitez is interested in tech stuff so why take the mic? He doesnt take the mic out of Hooper just getting drunk all the time like a bum does he?

Theres nothing wrong with taking this stuff seriously, you have to understand not people are different we all have our own personalities...Another thing Hooper if it wasnt for people like Kshitez's type you wouldnt be on computers,internet,PS2 and many other things which you use, which are made by people that you would probably laugh at...

Kshitez I converted 40000rupees into UK pound and it was only £503....is this setup better than the latest one I posted in my thread?

It's better to enjoy yourself in reality than in a virtual world, if Hooper likes doing that sort of thing (I dont know if its true or not) at least he is doing it with people he actually knows, not just random people over the internet.
Know? I hardly remember remembering Hooper. The last time we talked it ended up in abuses....

And perhaps, some people have got to understand that humour is not good everytime, and not the same type of humour. This doesn't make one cool. Enjoying with oneself with these types of posts is ok, but doing that at the cost of hurting or annoying others is not.

Don't you understand that some people don't drink and don't get a kick out of just getting wasted for a cheap thrill? I've done both and I definatly prefer staying home nerding it on my PC or whatever else.

Dont want to go on but if peoples (not just Hooper) idea of a good time is to get drunk with friends and end up an alcaholic then I think most sensible people would give that a pass....
