Natwest Series

By the words ` Many englishmen` I did not mean our forum members but many of the `so called` cricketing pundits like Bob Willis, Ian Botham,................ after the Carribean series and the recently concluded test series . Someone from the English team even said that they were ready to challenge the aussies and regain the ashes
There is a difference between tests and ODIs. I think we are one of the best test teams, but no-one has ever said that we were one of the best teams in ODIs. Indeed, since the World Cup, Ian Botham and Bob Willis have done nothing but crticise the ODI team.

lol i think england can beat aus in england in the test ,

but in odi they can be ranked 4 by me , it is just they have to play to thier potential , if they do they can give any team a run for thier money

ricky, i think india can beat england anyday in england's backyard, but Harmison needs to be injured... just kidding

but seriously, india can beat england, india is a very strong team right now, they just need to be more consistent...

The aussies are starting to slip though, I mean Sri Lanka bowling Australia out for 207 in Australia, but the Aussies always manage to come back...

:P lol india can beat england ,in odi not in test ,

it will be very hard ,

8th Match Result

England: 285/7 (Strauss 100, Flintoff 123)
West Indies: 286/3 (Gayle 132 not out, Sarwan 89)

West Indies win by 7 wickets

lol india can beat england ,in odi not in test ,

I thought I saw India beat Aus in Aus in a test match and almost pulled off a series clinching win at Sydney!
I feel that it would be very difficult to beat India in tests from now on because of the batting line up
If us see the stats of the last few tests played all the Indian batsmen have scored at least one century . Someone or the other is making a good score to put India into matchwinning positions
That is the area where India are far better than England who have a brittle middle order

Comin back to Natwest 2004,
ENGLAND are out of the competition and l would like to see the windies win the final

The yesterday's match was awesome..!!!

Great century by Gayle
and some poor fielding by England -_-
