need help

I hired out RPIC from blockbuster and it doesnt work on my playstation.It doesnt load or anything it just stays on the screen of when you first turn the ps2 on.

any help would be appreciated.

By the way its a brand new disc and my ps2 is playing other games

Im no expert cos i donthave a ps2 but it sounds like a problem with the disk.

Have you tried the disc in another ps2, possibly a mates?

no, cause i just got it today but none of my friends have ps2's except one guy, but it broke.

Im not sure then, could be the disk if your ps2 plays other games.

it has to be something to do with the ps2 because i went back and got a different copy of the game and its doing the same thing. but it says disc read error

Have you had the disc read error before and how old is your PS2? Try cleaning the lens and if that doesn't work it could mean your PS2 is knackered (speaking from personal experience!).

That's very strange, not come across it playing every game except one before. Hmmm, i'll keep thinking!
