1) No commentary only post
Post which only contain commentary of the match will be deleted. Examples of such post:
"Go Joe Blog"
"Brilliant shot Ponting"
"India win :banana2"
If in doubt, PM one of the Cricket Discussion moderators.
2) General Cricket Discussion Thread
The General Cricket Discussion thread is there for minor articles to be posted rather than creating a new thread. Also general cricket discussion can go in here without creating a separate thread. Examples of articles which should go in here include:
"Tendulkar 54th Test 100"
"Chris Martin vs Shane Bond"
"Nathan Hauritz dropped for Ashes" - This should go in the Ashes match thread or if there isn't one then in the General Cricket Discussion Thread.
If there is a good discussion going on in the General Cricket Discussion thread on a certain topic, it may get split into a new thread.
3) Inappropriate Behaviour
Post which sole purpose is to provoke a reaction from another member or abusing another member will be deleted.
4) Members attempting to take moderating into their own hands
If you feel a thread should be deleted or closed, report the thread. Do not post in the thread saying for it to be closed, this only leads to more rubbish on the forum.
Any member caught continually breaking these rules will have their Cricket Discussion posting rights removed.
