New Type of Fantasy League

Hello all! This is my first post on the forum, and I have an idea/sugguestion to the forum:

I want to make a fantasy cricket league, where you are the actual players! Yes, you heard me right, where you are the actual players. There can be all-rounders, bowlers, batters! You can even decide what kind of bowling you do, and if you're right-handed or left-handed.

In addition, there is commentary. So when you're batting, you can see when you hit a six, how you hit a six, and even on whom you hit a six on so you can go brag on how good you are. For now, there are only one-dayers which I can do, test may come out later.

So, you must be thinking that it is just a game. But wait a minute, it's also sort of startegy. If a player is not happy with the team, he can be traded to another team, or he can go to a free-agency marker where he can be bought by another team. And the money will go to player's previous team. There also will be standings, a tournament, trades, buying/selling players, and much, much more.

If this has been mentioned before, can someone delete this! And! This will only happen if there's minimum participation of 33 players. So, come on! What have you got to lose!

Sure, why not.

All it is, is just a game, where you are the players. You will be batting, you will be bowling, you will be making highlights! Simple. This is not where real cricketers are making the highlights, this is where, I will say it again, you are the players!

Yes, ok, but how is the match simulated? What decides what happens, and when? What determines the outcome?

We have a cricsim league which works on the same basis. To check it out see the Cricket games stories and strategies forum

Oh. Well I have a simulator that I have where I can just put you guys on, let you guys have the same averages (depends on if you're batter, bowler, all-rounder) and voila. The thing does it for you. It also has commentary which I can post here, or somewhere, to keep you guys (somewhat) entertained.

Yes and in that, it is Cricsim that works things out. What would it be here? How would it work, exactly?

Maybe an example match would help?

EDIT - Just seen the post squeezed in before mine. Sounds good, I'd still quite like an example though.

Is this a simulator that some of us may have come across before, if not, then may we see some screenshots of it?

Oh crud, I didn't see it before, sorry! But wait a minute! The game-style is the same. But my league is completley different! Mine has currency, buying/selling players, trading players, (maybe) drafts, and much more! So come one! Join.

I'll tell you the name of it:

"Syedur Rehman's Cricket Simulator" you can download from anywhere. Just google it or something, and download it from there. It's free.
