Brilliant I say. The more cricket in America the better.

ya...there's hardly any cricket at the moment, and a series between india and australia will certainly be the best thing to happen to USA cricket...

Could be a little embarrassing with the low amounts of crowd. Lets hope that they treat the 2 teams with respect as well.

If I remember correctly there had been already a series played out between India A and Australia A and players like Robin Singh, Brett Lee, Adam Gilchrist were involved. And believe me the pitches were terrible and matches hopeless. Don't know what will we expect now, of course these will be official ODI's. Still hard to see any true benefit in USA region, they just know their Baseball, thats it!

Ya...hopefully the indians and australians setted there would certainly be there, so should the local people... its supposed to be for them, to aquaint them with the game, and to build interest

Just one series wont help, we need a few series so that cricket really gets into the people's mind.

Yes i very well rememebr the series.
The pitches were bad and there was a lot of rain.

Well as long as India aren't being too greedy this should go ahead as Cricket Australia weren't happy with the small share of the profits that they were going to receive.

Should be an interesting series if it gets the go ahead although can't see them sitting their for 7 hours to watch two neutral countries play.

Instead of an India-Australia [which might be one-sided]
I'd really like to see a India-Pakistan which will be more of a crowd puller, especially in a neutral country.

Well the Aussie v India usually rate well with the Indian public. I would say the Aussies would pull better in the US than Pakistan just because they are the World's best. Either way there will be a lot of empty seats as I suspect this NFL stadium is in the 60,000+ at least.

They picked Australia because they are the world champs, and there would also be more expats from Australia than Pakistan in the USA. Any cricket fans would jump at the opportunity to see the world's best, but I can only see it getting an expat dominated crowd, still it would be good to see some cricket there.

dont really agree because there are way more Pakistanis than aussies in US, and same goes for Indian people. the last series between India and Pakistan in toronto was great, it was played at the rogers centre (formerly Sky Dome) and alot of people showed up because of there are alot of people from the sub-continent in Canada.
