What is the exact start time of drafts btw?

It'll be an auction (and a draft) like it was in season six, and it'll start around a month from now.

IIRC back then you got about 12 players in the auction, and drafted the rest.

Here are the player ratings I used for season nine and ten. They were made about four months ago (just after the World Cup), so form in real life has obviously changed since then. Because of this I'll be fully re-doing them for next season, so I thought I might as well post the old ones.

The international players (including New Zealand's international players) were rated mainly on their performances in ODI cricket over the last few of years, but their career stats did have some bearing on what they were rated.

The New Zealand domestic players were rated mainly on their performances over the last New Zealand domestic season (Nov 2010 - Mar 2011), but again their career stats did have some bearing on what they were rated, and players who have previously played international cricket were slightly boosted.

But then too. I too would have rated him near 37 or 38 four-five months ago. He isn't that bad.

But looking at his current-form he is just crap so 36 looks good for him now.

Gambhir rated 39. I'd rate him somewhat 36.

Since the 1st of January 2010 he's averaged 56 at a S/R of 92, in just matches involving the major eight nations. With those qualifications he's 18th in terms of runs scored, but only two of the the 17 players above him average more than him, and only three of the 17 players above him have a higher S/R than him.

If you extend the time period out to the 1st of January 2009, he comes in at 11th in terms of runs scored, but again out of the players above him only three of them have a higher average than him, and only two of them have a higher S/R than him.

He probably could have been just as fairly been rated 38, but statistically I don't see anything wrong with him having a 39 rating.

Well I just rate them as bowlers, I don't separate them out into pace and spin. Feel free to do a test of say 50 matches, and share the results with me, which may make me consider rating them separately in the future.

Who said that. Both Swann and Vettori were rated 27 in the GPL and both were the leading wicket taker and second highest wicket taker respectively.

Ryan ten Doeschate should have a batting rating of at least 45 and bowling no higher than 20...poor management.
