New Zealand Premier League XIII

I like your free for all then in reverse idea, might have to use that in the APL tomorrow.

Good to see this back and both drafting at the same time, fun.:thumbs

I like your free for all then in reverse idea, might have to use that in the APL tomorrow.

I was going to suggest it to you, but I didn't really want to try and describe it twice. After the first two rounds I'm planning to have another free for all round in round three, and then in the fourth round it will be the reverse again but everyone will pick in pairs just to try and speed things along, so the 1st and 2nd picks in round three will get the 7th and 8th picks in round four in either order. And then in the fifth and sixth rounds it will go free for all and then four people picking at once, followed by all free for all's after that.

No, I actually meant that these were probably the first 3 nation based leagues on PC in order.

And, it's great to have them running once again with EPL going pretty solidly as well.

The time and draft order looks just fine, waiting for you to post the draft rules and form. :thumbs

Everything's pretty much in that post above. When the New Zealand draft starts, just post the New Zealand player that you want, provided that they haven't already been picked. :p

I don't really see much point in using a list at the start, because of the initial rush etc. I'll add one before the start of the second round, so you know when you're picking then, but it's simply just the reverse of when you picked in the first round, so like this:

Round 1 (free for all)

Person A
Person B
Person C
Person D
Person E
Person F
Person G
Person H

Round 2 (ordered - in the reverse order of when you picked in round 1)

1st pick - Person H
2nd pick - Person G
3rd pick - Person F
4th pick - Person E
5th pick - Person D
6th pick - Person C
7th pick - Person B
8th pick - Person A

Round 3 (free for all again like round 1)

And I'll get to Round 4 closer to the time, although it will work similar to round 2.

Both of the drafts will start (and hence run) separately, for the reason that I said above. They will both run the same though, so when the time comes for the international draft to start, you can just make your pick. Like with the New Zealand draft I'll post a list after the initial rush, so we'll have to lists going separately, one for each draft.

The rules are just the usual; pick within 24 hours, don't pick anyone who's already been picked, check the thread when you come online to see if it's your pick, etc. I haven't bothered to post any proper list, because you're all experienced enough, and if you make a mistake there should be someone else online to correct you.

Just one more query, do we have to pick only one player in each round or we can pick more players? Same goes for the overseas draft.

Like using this form,

Code:
Round 1 - (Amount of players)

Manager A:
Manager B:
Manager C:
Manager D:
Manager E:
Manager F:
Manager G:
Manager H:

Round 2 - (Amount of players)

Manager A:
Manager B:
Manager C:
Manager D:
Manager E:
Manager F:
Manager G:
Manager H:

At the start it's just one player per round, so atm they'll be 10 NZ rounds and 8 INT rounds.

(That might change later on though, but I'll be clearer at the time like I will with the ordered round's 4 and 6)

As I said before I'll put a list up in a few hours after the initial rush, because they don't really matter at the start since there's only going to be a few posts you need to look over to see if a players been picked. I'm going out now, so like it says above the New Zealand draft will start in 1 hour and 9 minutes from this post, you will need to pick one New Zealand player. :thumbs
