newbie to cricket 2004

Just got the game, and set all the details to maximum 1024X768.
with all the frills turned on.
can anyone summarize the patches required for cricket 2004?

Anyway you'll probably need every patch because the game is so bugged and could be out of date!

The patches required would be difficult to summarise. The patches produced so far easier...
Bats and gameplay are the only things edited thus far although we've all been busting a gut trying things. The conclusion I'm coming to is that EA have made this game bug ridden and very hard to to edit which is frankly commercial suicide...

Finally Got Cricket 2004 today
Played it for 4 hours
When i run the game with pitch detail on the game runs slowllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly like a tortoise
help me
if turn it off the game runs smoothly

I played the first game Pak v Nz(me)eden park
autoplayed pakistans batting they made 272/9
i started nicely with 40/0 in 8 overs but i lost wickets and i was bowled out for 222
i thought it was a realistic game
Have u guys ever got Cpu out
i mean i cant even get through their defence
i got him out 2 times caught behind
Help me in getting Cpu out


Will u let me know the default controls to hit these shots
sweep
reverse sweep
leg glance etc..

What is that Force LOD thing
tell me what it does
Any help will be apreciated

Cricket 2004 - old wine in a new bottle?

I think LOD refers to level of detail. I'm not sure about that.
The AI is looking good. I got 80 in my fist match(10 over) against aus, and i kept aus tight untill 7th over(51/3) after which they went for 20 and 10 on the next two overs to reach the target.

Tough luck. Similar luck to me. Bowling is very difficult for me...but as always...my first wicket in a cricket game since BLC99 is faint edge to 1st slip but in this case, the keeper Jacobs I was so proud
