Great
Nice to see a cricket game coming... And seems they made it great by buliting it from scratch...
Regarding the stadium they stated that
"The stadiums are also looking rather detailed, and with 18 stadiums from 12 nations, there should be something to please most fans. England and Wales get to play on Lords, The Oval, Edgbaston, Cardiff, and Headingley--the five grounds set to host 2009 Ashes tests--whereas Australia has the Melbourne, Brisbane (The Gabba), and Sydney Cricket Grounds. Other locations span India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Zimbabwe."
Every feature they mentioned makes me feel that this will be the best.(simple summary of the features)
* Firstly the ashes with 23 player squad for different formats.
* The stadiums and atmosphere (crowds etc...).
* Classic matches.
* Free-hit rules.
* 4 player offline mode.
* The new Bowling system.
* Legends (Tutorials) - teaches everything about the game.
* Menu Can be toggled.
And from the video interview, i came to know that we can select front foot (or) back foot shot.
Waiting for the release......

Left_Hander : The SCG ground in that video was stunning. I hope the rest of the game is like that. I could also recognise Katich and it seemed like Hughes walking out with Katich. It mentions that all grounds that feature in the Ashes are implemented in the game but it didn't say if all of the Australian stadiums are. I'd be really dissapointed if all of the Australian Test stadiums aren't in there.
I just feel like with the name of Ashes Cricket 2009 that they alienated the rest of cricket fans. When the games where called Brian Lara or Ricky Ponting they had more of a universal feel to them. Here's hoping that the rest of the Test nations are licensed.
