Where did I say there wouldn't be a game? I just said that the packshot is unconfirmed.

@ apesnani - It won't just be an updated version like the EA one as it's a rebuild (albeit partial) by a different developer.

This is the game I am holding out for, and I hope they will make it moddable. In fact due to our good links with Codies, any chance of them giving a few copies away as prizes for the PC Awards, Colin?

Since this game is being developed by a new developer, I hope they do not make an Arcade style game like blic 07. The new game must look to be more realistic. I am not bothered about licensing and graphics. All i want is decent game play and an AI that has an I for intelligence and not an I for idiots.

Well I guess everything is unconfirmed until Codies make a press release but it seems pretty likely that that will be the name.

The packshot which was posted here is possibly not the right one. I don't think so they will release a packshot without a player on the cover.

If you mean Peer Lawther, then I think he has left codies. It will be better if you'll try to contact Atari as they are providing some information from the inside

May be but I think ''Ashes Cricket 2009'' will be its name as the game is completely licensed by Ashes.
