Well with disappointment surrounding EA's Game, all our hopes for a decent game lies with Ashes cricket. Lets just hope they take very little from blic 2007 and do a lot of new stuff with this game. I for one am waiting for next week's announcement.:upray

i saw the picture posted by eon about a system in the background with a cricket game.Good find.......i think its a match involving australia(stars in the menu and color combination..)

Not surprised, Ashes will be a major marketing money maker. Just whether the game actually steps up.

This is great news. I know no information is out but what is the possibility of it coming out on the PS3 or will ir be PC. If it's on the PS3 then another game on my list woo hoo

Gameplay will make or break it, it's been the trouble with Codemasters' efforts in the past. It can't be portrayed without seeing a video or playing the game, so we will just have to wait for that.

The graphics don't look especially good. The faces seem unrealistically chunky in the screenshots, and the only players I could recognise were Ricky Ponting and Brad Haddin, but Haddin wasn't a wicketkeeper. The preview said some of the England players were instantly recognisable so here's hoping. The grounds are detailed, which is good.

News of an in-depth editor has made me seriously consider buying this for Xbox 360.
