Nielsen named new Aussie cricket coach

Former assistant Tim Nielsen has been named to succeed John Buchanan as the Australian cricket team coach after the World Cup in March-April.

Nielsen, 38, has been head coach at Cricket Australia's Centre of Excellence in Brisbane since 2005 after spending three years assisting Buchanan with the national team.

He was the best option for the job after Moody given he already knows our setup and all.

Yeah hope he is better than buchanan as australia are going to find it hard
to stay at the top now with retirements of their stars specially after the world cup.

well, at least as good as buchanan would suit me. He's copped a fair bit of bagging but he is responsible for the work ethic in the australian team.
