Hi Guys,

I have just downloaded this game as EA doesn't work on my system.

To my surprise I am unable to find the "AutoPlay" Option in the game.

Does it exist as I don't like bowling in Cricket Games and generally use the AutoPlay option for the computer batting.

Kindly help me if this is possible.

Thanks

No buddy, it is a realistic game with a realistic gameplay.
So no Autoplay.
Just enjoy the (Cricket) Revolution.

^ Weak argument.

This game is no more realistic than any other cricket game. Once you get the hang of it you can score 15 runs an over easily.

In fact, its a much less complete game than Ashes. The batting system is terrible in this game.

completely agree on this one. the controls are too difficult and i feel it leaves tooooo much to do for the player in terms of timing, placement of shots and difficult key combinations when batting.
If that wasn't enough, guess what you have to deal with the network lag when playing multiplayer

"I haven't tried Ashes yet, but just wanted to know, is it worth a try?"

Secondly, I assume it being Ashes, would involve only Aus & Eng............ does it have other teams as well?

If there are it might be worth the download.... but just want to make sure before going ahead

You can play with all the Test teams in Ashes, and Ireland, Kenya and Zim.

IF you have only played CR and not tried Ashes, then you are in for at treat my friend :)

Yeah, although Ashes aint perfect, it's much better than CR, I basically forgot about this game after a month or so. There just isn't enough game modes on CR to keep you interested.

If I could give away my copy of CR to someone who will actually use it , I would. Problem is that its on steam and all my personal info is on there. Guess it will sit and collect "virtual dust" for eternity now.

Unfortunately, CR became another cricket game where you said to yourself "I hope the next version is better".

I heard that Ashes 10 will probably come out in November. We sit and wait once more.

well... i haven't tried Ashes 09........
i opted for CR as EA Cricket 07 doesn't work on my PC... been trying to sort out the issue at the following link for quite a while now...

Issue I am facing with EA Cricket 07 (contains all the screenshots for the issue as well)

unfortunately haven't had a solution on it yet...

I am still playing EA Cricket 04... all the version after that had the same issue as mentioned in the above forum...

This is the only reason why I resorted to CR... thought that would be better... but yes completely agree to "D-S-B" and "Gazza_11"... CR doesn;t have enough potential to keep you interested in it for long...

let me try Ashes 09... hopes it works though... as Cricket 07 doesn't... guess the requirements are same for both... keeping my fingers crossed on this :(

hi does ashes 2009 realy reqierd grapics card and 2 gh proses?

there is no autoplay in cricket revolution

they should have added auto-paly but I completley disagree with all the -ve comments about CR batting, unlike the ea or codemasters everything is is user control you can place ur shots and there are lenty of shots to choose from. yes the game is a bit harder to get hang of in teh beinning but thats becasue its relaistic, things are not left to chance and probility.
