I was thinking of creating a league for the Olympics, complete with qualifiers etc. There is some online Olympics games . The idea was to post snapshots of your events best performance and the top players quality for finals etc. However I just do not have the time...

Remember @Na Maloom Afraad stick cricket League were we played online and posted our scores via PM . Now the same with Olympics. Users play online and post there results.

I'll give You some suggestions. I planned the same, but cancelled. And here's why..

- Olympics is a big deal, You don't want less than 15 people participating in it. Do You think You can get up to 50+ players in the league? There are 150+ nations in the real life thing.

- There are way too many games in the olympics, how are You supposed to keep up with that? Can You end the Olympics right when the real life Olympics end? People will lose interest if it takes more than 2 weeks from the date where the real life olympics ended.

- If members sign-up, what will they do? Will they have to manage their chosen nation in all the games there are in Your olympics' league? Some people might not even know archery, field hockey, volleyball, rugby, golf, shooting, table tennis etc.

Just saying, these are my thoughts.

It is a great idea, but it'll consume a hell lot of Your time.

If You wanna run it, just do it! I'll be the first to sign-up.

Most of the reasons you mentioned is the reason why I also gave up the idea
