HELP NEEDED

With @VC the slogger no longer able to simulate the List A and first-class matches here, it looks like we'll be needing a new simmer. Of course, if @shoaibakhtar wants to take on that role in addition to his T20 duties, he's more than welcome to do so, but I think that with a league this diverse, it makes sense to share the workload. I'd do it myself, except I have absolutely no free time.

UPDATE

The simmer situation has been resolved. The line-up is now thus:

First-class cricket: @VC the slogger
List A cricket: @Mr Nokkaya
Twenty20 cricket: @shoaibakhtar

Thanks to all who applied to fill the vacancy, but we decided to go with Tarak because he is the most experienced of the candidates available. It's nothing personal against those who missed out - it was a difficult choice. It's up to @Mr Nokkaya whether he wishes to hand over the captaincy of his domestic team to avoid a conflict of interest.

PC50 NATIONAL LEAGUE, ROUND TWO
All of this means that we're ready once again to collect line-ups for the second round of the PC50 competition. @Mr Nokkaya @Sulaiman7 and @SamP will need to post their XIs; I think mine is on the previous page. I still need to update the thread index, so I'll do that in the next few minutes.

What's one more announcement amongst all these? I'm pleased to name @SamP captain of the United States of PlanetCricket for the Auty Cup. He has been short of form in the domestic series, but his constant activity and enthusiasm should stand the team in good stead.

Honored to be announced the national captain for the Auty cup, should hopefully be a great tournament and with some luck I may pick up some form with the bat so I can lead from the front .

Excellent - @Mr Nokkaya applied to sim one-day games, and then declared himself unavailable to do so about two days later. I think that's a pretty big oversight.

The second-choice applicant @Yonga would be ideal to replace him, if he's still willing to do so.
