I dont know whether u guys have any intimation or request from anyone regarding the fiedlers not collecting the ball in the online gameplay. Recently I threw and broke my controller because of the frustration it caused me as the fielder standing is just looking around as the ball went rite between his legs. This has taken many online league match away from my hands.
Following are the issues we have with fielders while playing online.
1. Close fielders are just standing simply when the ball is going past them not even trying to dive or move to collect the ball.
2. Long fielders not running fast to collect the ball rather they just jog towards the balls it gives enough time to the batsmen to convert the 1's into 2's
3. Fielder running towards the boundary line where the ball is going towards them. Actually they should run forward and collect the ball.
4. Long fielders running past the boundary rope and diving in to collect the ball. Most of the time it results in boundary as the fielder touches the rope with the ball in hand.
5. Fielders make unnecessary dive to stop the ball near the boundary line. This give extra time to the batsmen.
6. Batsmen misses the ball it goes to the keeper or hit the pads and batsmen takes a leg bye. If we press X to hit the stumps, keeper is not doing a straight throw, rather he just lobs the ball and that is not hitting the stumps 95% of times.
7. Batsman misses the ball it goes to the keeper batsmen trying to take a bye. I press X again keeper lobs the ball, bowler shoudl come close to the batsman stump to collect the ball. But he runs towards the non striker end and no one is there to collect the ball. though some close fielder collects the ball, he will not try to hit the stumps rather throw the ball slowly to keeper/bowler.
8. Long fielders/Keeper arer so dum and they will miss the stump exactly when the batsmen is short from the crease. And they will always hit the stumps when the batsmen are well home.
9. Keeper/Bowler is taking his own sweet time to hit the stump after he collects the throw from the fielder.
10. Throw from long end will not even go near the bowler/keeper when the batsmen are short of crease and the throw will be collected by a back up fielder.
11. Keeper/Bowler will have to stay behind the stump to collect the throw from teh fielder. For example if the the ball was hit towards off side fielder, the bowler should stand in the leg side of the stump to collect the throw. Instead, he is standing in between the fielder and the stumps collects the ball and turns around to hit the stumps (very lazily of course).
Please note these cannot be caused by a lag or net connection. I use net connection which has 2ms speed. and I use semi assisted fielding. Opponents also has good connection as there are no lags in the game. Cn you guys do anything about the above mentioned points.
