Ok leaving that topic aside, I'll be hosting a sort of server on my Lappy so anyone in NZ apart from Sylvester can bump me for a 20:20.

Good idea though, hopefully it offers good pings as some NZ servers go quite high for CS:S. Haven't tried my ping with go large either! But on online board game sites I lag majorly which never happened before

Lol, I assumed you will enter already. And its quite OK for pings, I usually get 110 on Aus servers.

I don't play CS:S online but the only time I did try to get on I had 900 ping, but I hope it's not my connection and it was the server in China or wherever it was.

hxcrocker, I would suggest that using a 56k dialup would not result in the best of experiences.

thought so... dammit oh well. the single player better be challenging then..
