Akhtar was shown the door and Gul's contract was suspended, which means Gul could've played but KKR would have needed to buy Shoaib again. In any case, they lack a quality bowler

I'd love to have Ajmal in the team. He has an economy rate near or maybe even under 6, in International T20 matches. Pair him up with Warne, and we can suffocate the other team.

Its more likely the players that put forward their name rather then the teams asking for them. Anyways very few are likely to be taken since most teams are full
