I don’t think you grasp quite how big the EPL is.

Couldn’t follow this tournament much due to it being locked behind FanCode. Got to see that Imad’s knockout stats are utterly bonkers this time around. Any chance of him making a well deserved comeback to the national side after this?
Depends if he un-retires. If he does, I think he makes it, because there’s a gap at number 7 in the team, and Nawaz has been in stinky form

He’s a no brainer pick for me. He’s got CPL experience, has shown that he can perform in knockout games and is the perfect T20 player. If I were the PCB I’d be approaching him ASAP to get him back again and I would even offer him the captaincy if Shaheen is to be sacked.

Agree with everything else, but this may be a little too much - but then again, he did win PSL as a captain for Karachi, the same Karachi that had Babar going 1-9 the very next season.

I really hope they don't sack Shaheen without him having the full opportunity of bottling a World Cup like Babar though.

Really, do you think IPL is bigger than the PSL? Can you explain the key points on this?

Finally Sony Sports is telecasting PSL in India, excited for this and will be supporting Peshawar Zalmi, excited to watch PSL after few years with proper streaming.

Edit : My hopes sucks to some extent as fancode will be streaming PSL and it will be live on TV in Sony Sports.

Honestly thought bevab was back while scrolling.. saw the date then

Anyway if srh lose another game, im coming here to cheer the Sultans (I hope I made the right pick tbh)

Don't get the point of banning Corbin Bosch for a year. Is it just to showcase that the PCB too can take tough decisions to safeguard their league?

I personally think the ICC can intervene and have a transfer fee. During the now defunct CLT20, the players could choose which franchisee they wanted to play for. for example if Brett Lee chose KKR over Sydney, KKR/Lee was required to pay Sydney a fee of USD 200,000. In this case, I am unsure of Corbin's contract value, however, a 20% fee can be levied as a last minute change option.

This not CLT20, these are different competitions, he has a contract and he should respect that or legal action must be taken against him.

looking at some of the local players on the bench, the PSL definitely needs at least 8 teams

two XIs from bench players this round:

:wkb: Haseebullah Khan
:bat: overseas opener
:bat: Khawaja Nafay
:bat: Tayyab Tahir
:ar: overseas batting allrounder
:bat: overseas finisher
:ar: Mohammad Wasim jnr
:bwl: overseas spinner
:bwl: Faisal Akram
:bwl: Salman Irshad
:bwl: Ubaid Shah (E)

:wkb: overseas keeper/opener
:bat: overseas opener
:bat: Omair bin Yousuf
:bat: Haider Ali
:ar: overseas batting allrounder
:bat: Muhummad Amir Barki (E)
:ar: overseas bits and pieces allrounder
:bwl: Mehran Mumtaz
:bwl: Zahid Mahmood
:bwl: Zaman Khan
:bwl: Mohammad Hasnain

these are both PSL quality XIs imo. mate, i still have enough to make a third XI without too much drop in quality:

:ar: Maaz Sadaqat
:bat: overseas opener
:wkb: overseas keeper
:bat: overseas batter
:bat: Asif Ali
:bat: Abdul Samad
:ar: Aamer Jamal
:bwl: Arif Yaqoob
:bwl: Ubaid Shah
:bwl: Mohammad Zeeshan (E)
:bwl: overseas spinner

so the point is, PSL should definitely be 8 teams for the entire talent pool to get a look in, otherwise some players miss out on game time that bridges international cricket with domestic.

was just about to post about how pleased i am for Minhas getting an oppurtunity to show he's actually an explosive batting allrounder, but he's just been bowled by Usama :crying:
