Yet somehow the forum police for months what will be guaranteed to fix. Apparently it's okay to fabricate stories as long as it's positive towards big ant

It's too bad all this effort wasn't here pre-release so we wouldn't need such a dramatic clean up 4-5 months after release.[DOUBLEPOST=1493123084][/DOUBLEPOST]
The arse kissing is on show in the public forums
See and this is why I personally dont really like posting anything; it is just used as a stick against you. What is the point of your comment apart from to be a troll?

Thankfully there are enough people able to engage in discussion and interaction in an adult manner.

For the record I am not going to state anything that is or is not in the patch. Thats BA 's right and responsibilty. We have only tried to show that the beta proces is real, is nothing to do with a bunch of fan boys kissing anybody's arses but a bunch of enthusiastic people spending a lot of their free time trying to give BA the feedback and pointers they have asked for to try and shape the game into something that is enjoyable, realistic and immersive as possible for everyone who wants a cricket game to play, given the time and the ingredients available.

We have spent a lot of time going through threads collecting problems and wishes others have come across; for example online play. I dont play online but many do so we need to make sure that the problems and wishes people have are taken up in the list of areas needing attention.

In other words no one on the beta team is doing this just for themselves but in the hope that we can collect and give BA the input that will make the game the best it can be with the posibillities and impossibilities it has.

There are no guarentees at the mo, just honest hard work

We have collated a number of areas that need to be looked at and addressed if BA wants to deliver a game at the level they actually want it to have. They have clearly stated that they feel that a number of elements are indeed below par and need addressing.

What I have learned is that there is much more behind the curtains than you think both in terms of reasons as to why the game released when it did at the level it did and how much more complicated things are in terms of fixing things is.

What I have learned most of all is that it is all about real people, real jobs, real lives, real passions and determination.

It is very very easy to hide behind a username and spout our judgements.

Once in a while we need to just take a step back and remember our own humanity and that of the other.

when we boiled it down taking into account the most needed and important fixes, @Dutch 's masterlist its amount to 30 key odd key things one page not even 3 pages that covers almost everything important. The reason its 121 pages is the amount of detail that goes in extensive feedback process with each build and discussion with BA, and among ourselves before and after different builds.

Just to mention, for AI mentality it wont be feedback if i just say AI mentality and a few of my expectation of it, but blocker for ex did a complete analysis of what are all the AI probabilities and the kind of rules that can be enforced to make it look real, now its another matter whether its going to be implemented or not, but its just about even putting out a workable idea across does need a definite amount of detail for it to be really helpful.

this not to brag or anything but, we are certainly not wasting 121 pages for something that can be said in 3 pages. There is a bit of banter but not all of it.

Just to clarify for @Langeveldt my analysis was specific to bowling changes rather than batting approach.

Okay, well I await to see what happens in the patch. I am happy to run some tests to prove that batting mentality means diddly at the moment over a dozen or so innings, but I only have access to Patch 3. It depends on whether there is enough appetite from other people to see it fixed I guess, but you would certainly have another PC version customer here if it were fixed.

Interestingly enough, I cracked open Cricket 2004 today and batsmen were able to be "sloggers" or "stone wallers", and yes it had a nice effect on their approach. I am not sure how the other settings such as "talisman" made a difference though.

So if the patch doesn't fix everything you want it to, you must take it out on @Dutch and @blockerdave as they are 100% responsible. PM me for private details.

Remember if anything isn't exactly how you want to do be fixed you must harass those two and no one else

I will say this c2k4 did make a appearance in our beta discussions too, though more in line with respect to edges.I t certainly did certain things right but failed in the whole gameplay aspect.

Cricket 2004, International Cricket 10, and BLIC 2005 were for mine the most impressive games gamplay wise, although they did have their failings.

C2004 had a serious run out bug and batsmen getting very bogged down against spin, and BLIC 2005 had some crazy leg glances for six, but for mine they were real pioneers in the genre. It's a shame that there were some seriously average cricket games released after that good base 13 years ago.

Imo they were good games for their times especially c2k4, blc05,liked the tail end batting animations of blc 05. but they had many failings other wise, sometimes way too scripted.

when they r going to release the patch 4 its end of april now

It will release when it does there's still a few more days left in april so we'll just have to wait and see.

I am happy with the current Patch Three on both PC and PS4! Patch 4, if it is a fixer for the remaining bugs, I am more than happy! Supporting BA till my last penny is spent!
