Well, of course no golf, EA have stopped supporting Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. I'm just happy to have a cricket game on console again, and the wait for patch 4 gives me time to find real names and stats for the Women's domestic teams before I start my career so win-win.

'There are whispers that DBC 14 married ashes Cricket 13. Outcome was dbc 17'.

Statements made above by alleged intelligent people are unwarranted and incendiary, it's proving nothing.

It would have been an immense pleasure to listen to our Good Old Richie Benaud in the backdrop of DBC 17. I wonder if BA can buy some of his recordings from EA and other sports channels. Classic team players like me should love this idea I guess! Apart from all, Mr. M. Holding and D. Morrison will be my picking for a commentary team.

It's bad enough having to listen to Lloyd and Hussain when I'm at work without hearing them at home as well! Atherton, Cork and Gower great but ahead of them all is one man.... Michael Holding.

Danny Morrison all the way, I know he's a Kiwi but we'll have to rough it. He has energy and is a good character.

It seems some people are treating this forum as a facebook comments section rather than a discussion forum :P one line throw away comments about the game/others without actually adding any value to the discussion - I may have been guilty of it as well (it's easy to get carried away, ok!). If the post isn't about the game, it probably doesn't belong here :P

So to make this post relevant, potentially only 4 weeks to wait!

I am often reminded of the old saying "We never had time to do it right, but always time to do it again".
That is where we are at with this game. It was obvious to many keen observers that they rushed this mess out far too soon. Simple QA, like simply sitting down and playing the game, should have had the alarm bells ringing well before release.
To me the next patch Is irrelevant as the game will never recover from this PR disaster no matter how good it may become as a result.

I just hope they can add more variety to the way the AI gets dismissed I'm sick off getting the whole team out caught at the same 3 fielding positions at point, cover and square leg never getting any wickets bowled or lbw and if you increase the difficulty to legend the edges stop happening and when I'm batting I bat pretty conservative but just about every dismissal I get is caught behind sometimes its just ridiculous how many catches the AI WK gets in a game
And some variety in the totals the AI make would also be nice I can pretty much predict what they will score
DBC 14 had heaps of variety and every game was different which made playing it exciting and that was playing on pro difficulty you didn't know how the AI was going to play just like real cricket sometimes they would make 400 to 500 runs other times you would bundle them out for 150 and when I batted it was never guaranteed to make big scores sometimes again I'd make 400 plus then next innings I'd be bundled out for 200 hopefully BA can get this type of things happening with AI in patch 4 I can only pray

Hey, I'm with you all the way, wxcept maybe the Danny Morrison bit. I'm genuinely happy with this game and I'm happy to wait for the bugs to be fixed. All sports games forums seem to have the naysayers and the what-have-you-done-for-me-latelys as if trying to get AI to understand the nuances of cricket is an easy thing. So I'm big love to BA and await patch 4 with excitement.
