PC Champions League | 14 years and 20 seasons of statistics FINALLY up to date..

^Let the organizers take care of that, because their is no pint for me to play two associate teams and it will be better to combine them into one.

Everyone take part in organizing this league. You should have won in EPL if you want a better team. Not to enter here by winning a 3 team league and combining both teams. I manage two teams which are equally associates - a team from Zimbabwe and a Netherland team. If Ahemad is allowed to combine his teams, then I should be allowed too. :p But I don't like this idea.

You
- won a league
- qualified for champions league
- participate there with higher teams

These are more than enough to improve your managing skills. Your idea is like combining Netherland and Ireland in world cup which would have Kevin O'Brien, Niall O'Brien, Peter Borren, Pieter Seelar, RtD, Boyd Rankin all in one team.

If you want a better team in Champions league, win a better league with better players.

Champions League Nine is starting on Saturday! The eight teams competing will be drawn into two groups of four. In each group, there will be a single round robin after which the bottom team from each group will be eliminated. The other six teams will go forward into the playoffs, a straight knockout stage. Four overseas players will be allowed in each team's lineup. Fixtures will be released later tonight after I finalise the draw.

Oh Thats Good To Hear

Glad to hear that, though I feel only the top 2 from each group should be allowed to progress. :p

This is what I've done, Any other people that have 2 teams with the same person

3 teams
Ricky Ponting - Basnahira, Hawke's Bay, Perth

2 teams
Ajantha Mendis - Basnahira, Hawke's Bay
Jacques Kallis - Basnahira, Highland
Muttiah Muralitharan - Bashnahira, Matebaland
Hashim Amla - Basnahira, Highland
Mike Hussey - Highland, Matebaland
Ryan ten Doeschate - Nairobi, Matebaland
Ashish Bagai - Nairobi, Highland
Josh Davey - Nairobi, Highland
Kumar Sangakkra - Perth, Basnahira
Daniel Vettori - Basnahira, Dragons
Angelo Mathews - Basnahira, Hawke's Bay

Only the top two teams in each pool should progress, you shouldn't be rewarded for finishing 3rd out of four teams.

When you make the pools you should probably seed them; i.e. put two of the SL, NZ, Aus, and Eng teams into each pool.

Btw just making sure that you know that my team Durham aren't on the first post atm.

What happens is the bottom team gets kicked out, then you go into the playoffs:

Quarter Finals
Group 1 2nd v Group 2 3rd
Group 2 2nd v Group 1 3rd

Semi Finals
Group 1 1st v QF 2 winner
Group 2 1st v QF 1 winner

Grand Final
TBC v TBC

---

Oh and thanks for the reminder about Durham.

Player Clashes
There are, as always, a number of player clashes in this year's Champions League. They will be resolved as follows:
* Mitchell Johnson will play for Matebaland Tuskers in Group A and for The Dragons in Group B
* Ricky Ponting will play for Perth Scorchers in Group A and for Hawke's Bay in Group B
* Daniel Vettori will play for Basnahira Bears in Group A and for Durham Dynamos in Group B
* Muttiah Muralitharan will play for Matebabalnd Tuskers in Group A.
* Ryan ten Doeschate will play for Nairobi Nomads in Group A.
* Kumar Sangakkara will play for Basnahira Bears in Group A.

I strongly recommend you to go with what Swirler suggested for the last season in player clashes. By the way, where is Angelo Mathews? Thought he played for two teams as well.

Several players play for two teams, but in different groups.

Muralitharan, a local SL player will play for the rivals against us? ha ha ha. Great joke.
