PC Champions League | 14 years and 20 seasons of statistics FINALLY up to date..

haha, revenge is sweet... said Dan. :p Heino Kuhn played really well considering he hadn't made much through the AFPL. While the bowlers lived up to their expectations.

Both the sides bowled extremely well but in the end the Durban batsmen came out on top.

After scoring a pretty poor total the bowlers had to step up and they sure did! Lead by Harris and Steyn no one went for more than 4.2. Morkel will feel a bit shafted coming on as the 5th bowler :p
I'm disappointed that my best two batsmen Amla and Tendulkar didn't fire so that left a lot of work for the middle order to do.

And yes, revenge is sweet :p

Why do I bother. This will be the second team Bloemfontein are ████ in the Champions League. Disgraceful batting effort. Morgan practicing for his tests, I see......

I better ring Morgan and tell him the Ashes has been cancelled so he can play like he does in One Day cricket.

Haha. It's only the first round. There's still 5 games for each team so planty of time for a turnaround.

Well the two Australian sides won their games. Chennai and Durban scored a win for the Indian and Afrikan leagues. And spare a thought for the NZ teams, both going down in defeat.

Points table has been updated for Round 1. Stats and Round 2 thread will be up just as soon as I switch back over to my XP machine.

Oh dear. Round 2 is right mess with regards to clashes. Chennai, Bloemfontein, Durban and Delhi will miss out on 3 players, meaning they will be forced to play their remaining 5 internationals. Here are the problem clashes:

Bloemfontein Bucks v Chennai Comets
-Eoin Morgan may not play
-James Anderson may not play
-Mitchell Johnson may not play

Durban Bulldogs v Delhi Warriors
-Graeme Swann may not play
-Lasith Malinga may not play
-Shane Watson may not play

The other two games only have one clash each so not too bad there. Unless team managers agree on some arrangement where one team will use one player and the other team another player, playing their remaining internationals seems to be the only option.

The other option is this: Because the pitch this round is excellent, I won't allow the batsmen to play and I'll randomly allocate the bowlers to a team.

Let me know what you think. I'll concede this is my fault, I misread some team names and only caught the mistake when posting Round 2.

My APL team's not involved, and neither are the two NZPL teams. :)

Chennai and Delhi have a big blow there... Really they should be playing!!

If Delhi wants to play one of Swann or Malinga and let me play Watson I'd be happy with that ?
That should work considering Tarun played both Swann and Malinga last match but didn't play Watson.

That's would really be a great deal for Delhi.. Tarun plear accept it

rahulkhush added 1 Minutes and 19 Seconds later...

That's good to hear for Chennai camp

Me and Hedger have come to a conclusion that I'll play Morgan and he'll play Anderson:)
Yep, we have agreed on that.

Awesome. Great job.

We'll have to see what he says but that seems like a good idea.

This is all going to happen again in round 5 but we'll deal with it when it rolls round.
