It was a good game, that warm up for us. Viru's century and later on Kartik and other bowlers defending the target is a positive sign. Hopefully we will start the main comp in this manner too. Collingwood was instrumental in winning us the IPL back then so hopefully he will be a nice addition here as well in the absence of Kallis.

It was a nail biting finish. I found it quite mindboggling to give the last over to Marlon when Ryan who had bowled brilliantly had an over left in his spell but all is well that ends well. It was one of those days where Marlon could do no wrong.

For the next match, I would like to open with Jason Mohammad and bring in Sarwan to strengthen the middle order. I would also expect something special from Jadeja who was #1 bowler and IIRC #1/#2 allrounder when we won the CL. Him and Bailey who scored over 1000 ODI runs when we won CPL need to step up for us.
