Regarding the tournament's fixtures, which one sounds better? 17/32 game tournament? The first case arises when each team verses all the other sides 'once', while the second case when it verses the other sides 'twice'.

Host nation is most likely to be India, given it has no teams participating for this edition. I feel its better to have a neutral venue, so went for India.

Like I said via VM I'd probably prefer 17 games. Don't really want it to drag on too much, because both of my teams have their respective league's seasons starting soon.

Player Clashes - Solution (Credit to Swirler)​

1. Two teams have the same player in their squads, who is local to one of the sides.

The player is given to the local side and the other side plays without him.

2. Two teams have the same player in their squads, who isn't local to either side.

The player is removed from the match and each team picks from the remaining 17 players in their squads.

3. Two teams have two players in common and neither of them have a local team.

I'll randomly pick a team for both the players to play by using Random.org.

4. Two teams have two players in common, but this time one of them has a local team.

That player will obviously join his local team, and the other player will join the other team.
