A mini-collapse gave Kolkata Knight Riders the edge over Rajasthan Royals to pull off an upset, but Ravindra Jadeja's calm approach carried the Royals to victory.
Martin Guptill's handsome 81 at the top alongside Nitish Rana's watchful 43 in their 124-run partnership for the 2nd-wicket laid the groundwork for Royals' chase.

However a last gasp from Knight Riders, led by Amit Mishra, derailed Royals' momentum before Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar's pairing regained it.
In the end, Ravindra Jadeja's steady innings bundled with some tail-end resistance by Washington Sundar and Navdeep Saini got Rajasthan over the finishing line.​
