Now, I am sure I will be out of this unless I play a good gamble here.

I am confused really but.... well, I am going to make a very dangerous substitution which might even cost me a spot in the top 5 if it doesn't pay off!

Had the Spanish keeper and a Spanish defender which really boosted up my total.
Also I'm into the final of world cup mode.
Hopefully I'll be able to get on the internet over the next few days, as I'm going away.

I see CG12345 is also going great in the league.

I took a couple of German players in my team, but they didn't do much this time. I grabbed 76 points, which I would say is not bad.

I am just realising that Aussie1st made two extra transfers: -6. The result of the semi-final is 67 points for Aussie1st and 72 points for zub316. Without these two extra transfers Aussie1st might have gone through. But I don't know whether these transfers gave him some points or not.

Just made my final set of transfers now, pretty much I loaded up on Germans.

I am in a do or die situation. I have to use some brain along with some gambling to finish 1st now.

I don't know how CG got so far from me.

I got some 48 points from 7 players which is really good compared to CG's 46 points from 10 players (Most probably).

Now after the substitutions, I will be 25 points behind CG but will have 6 players playing while CG will only have 1 player if he fails to make his substitution. And assuming my subs play more than 61 minutes, I will get 18 points. Now I will need a extra 10 or more points from my subs (excluding minutes played) assuming CG's player will play more than 61 minutes.

I'm on 38 points with seven players still to play. (After subs)

I can only play one of Villa or Robben, as two of my forwards scored huge last night, and you can only have a maximum of three.

I've done all I can for now, so will have to hope for the best.

Also I'm up to 11th in NZ.

My main problems were during the quarter-finals, when I made three unnecessary substitutions. I was then thinking there were unlimited transfers and that practically ruined the rest of the tournament for me.

2nd round was my main reason of downfall. I was bit unlucky to have two players with red card that means negative points and one player with zero points so basically I only got 8 players and that two in round 2 and after that I never able to stand again.

Not a great last round for me, but in the end I just hung on.
I made my move in the knock-out stages, the Spanish keeper kept four clean sheets in a row, so he was just a dream to have, and the likes of Villa, Robben and Snijder all proved to be great.

It's just CG123, they didn't allow that as it was too short, and go get your own one Dan
