I did participate in the previous season. And I'm pretty sure that when I sent my entry, it didn't look really bad. Not to sound narcissistic or anything.
And I'm just back, I'm kinda rusty. So there's that. I'll probably not be participating.

Entry 1: Nice render. The texture behind is good too but I feel the BCCI logo could have been used in a better way may be a little smaller logo and more opaque right behind the texture would have looked better. Text is a huge let down. Why would you such a simple text effectwise on a wallpaper and that too right on the render? I would say the initial idea was correct but fell of the right place somewhere in the middle.
Entry 2: I like the simplicity of this wally, particularly the colors used. I felt the text was used wisely behind. That said, the maker could have done without the stadium there since it is hardly visible or adds to the wallpaper anyway. One more thing I would like to add is that the signature could have looked so good just under the name of the player ending somewhere near his right knee. Good try nevertheless.
Entry 3: Simple and decent. I liked those two cut outs in there but don't you think it would have looked all the more better if it had some effect behind? Also, I would have liked to see the word 'India' instead of letting the 'Sahara' part in.
Entry 4: Aah, the old style wallpaper. I am loving every effect on it but unfortunately the maker has missed out on resizing the name of the player properly that goes well with the rectangle behind the ball. Some tweaking and this one is real good. A fielder version of Kohli replacing the render next to the one in the test kit could add to the charm of this wallpaper. Did I mention the stadium part on the behind could have entirely been done away with?
Entry 5: A work resembling to the style ofwebsites from apple Simon. It is always simple and I like that particularly the fact that the main render used is of a fielder/bowler Kohli i.e., no helmets no nothing. Goes very well with the colors and the background renders. Awkward size though.
Entry 6: Too much lighting. Too much effects. Poor wallpaper as a whole. Sorry mate.
Entry 7: Okayish. It did not appeal to me to be honest.
Entry 8: Nice effects but I am not a fan of fancy writing going all over the main render. Some texture on the black part of the wallpaper would have made looked a bit better.
Entry 9: Good use of the text but that is one wallpaper I would never like to put on my desktop. Try some textures, mate.
Entry 10: Most might not agree but I think this is one of the better ones in the round. Not too many effects and not too much lighting. Some textures and replacing that rectangle thing with more fancy and eye catching colored shape somewhat like the one used here at the top is all this wally needs. Not the best but good effort.
If the last round was a high quality one this is one of those rounds were it is hard to vote which one is worst but do not lose heart people, everyone has a bad day. Keep yourself open to feedback and constructive criticisms and you would learn what to do to be better. Also, it is not that a particular thing is good or bad in graphics, it all depends on the creation as a whole so something I have suggested is bad in your creation, do not resist yourself from using it again because the very same thing might look great with some other creations with other effects. Lastly, I am no God at graphics so do not forget to use your brains too and do not follow my suggestions blindly. Thanks all for taking your time and doing this. Lets make it better guys!

Entry 2, 5 & 8 put up a good fight there, something different and interesting, some of them are just too much of Pravanish type or just lacks some good touches.
