Good choices mate, does that mean you're going to get one again- and this should really be in the general forum
 
yeh i am getting this one soz about puttin it in wrong forum what cd drive would you reconmend and how do you make sure you have a cd burner
 
Cd burners are CD-RW drives as opposed to CD-ROM, they're bloody cheap now so just get a good one
You might want to put in a hard drive :D

when i go to hard drives it comes up withtwo choices either scsi hard drives or ide hard drives which one shall i click on

it is ?479.79 i have forgotten anything do you reckon that when put together that it will work fine and will it be ablke to play c2004 thanks for your help
 
That sound card is unneccessary unless you have 5.1 speakers- the motherboard has integrated sound
You can get a C2k4 compatible PC for about 350 pounds, it's just a matter of if you want to play other games
 
i will get rid of the sound card but do you think it would work
 
Actually, wait a minute- That's an Athlon 64 motherboard, it won't work with your CPU
 
i think it would be best if i got a pre built one cus atleast then i would know that it is going to work thanks for your help any way
 
Fair enough- just make sure you shop around for the best price and only buy what you need
