PC MutliPlayer Match Up Thread

Pad is a compulsive quitter, i have him quit on me at least 6 or 7 times when either i was smashing his bowling or bundling him out for peanuts. I geuss he also knows that he is a pathetic looser and we guys are way to good for him.
 
What is his star rating? Just wondering if its low enough to where the system is actually working.
 
^ I dont think he has a start rating as he still playing on the unpatched version along with other quitters. Even though this is unrelated, for some reason i feel that 70% of players playing online on the unpatched version, dont have an original copy of the game.
 
How can you play online without an original copy? I thought that was impossible, like on most other online games.

that's right i know many people using a copy(pirated) which runs online ....:)
 
Jeez, thats poor piracy control then. From what I understand (which is very little), its not too difficult to make sure only original copies can play online. Games like Battlefield 2, I know for sure, pirates can only play single player.
 
The beta patch version has such few members online , only because most of the South Asian's have been using pirated version of the game and now they cant update their games. Even though most of the online players of the game with the beta patch seem to have genuine copies .....there is still a way to play this game online without the original disk. Luckily most of the people using pirated games have limited knowledge of computers.

Also it is mostly these pirates who quit in the game.


Despite pricing the game VERY reasonably in India, piracy is the main cause of its failure here.
Codemasters will have to pull their socks up as far as piracy control is concerned if they want the next iteration of this game to be a PC success like the console versions.

Yeah, man. That's pretty true. Talking about South Asia, there's no (or very very few) Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and Sri Lankans online. And about the Indians, it's mainly sunny, reno, Guddu, you, me and some others. (And maybe jaraarrow, don't know his nationality) There aren't many Aussies and English players either. Just Colin, The_gas, stevie, Chris, Dutchy and five/six other players. A real sad state of affairs! :noway The initial sales of AC09 were quite high in Kolkata. It must have dropped since then.

Thats really surprising, I thought before release that the PC version would be the easiest to get a match in. On ps3 I have no problem at all, usually 1 of the many PC members are on, or if I create a match, someone will join usually in about 1-3 minutes, never longer than 15 mins.

Just had a 10 over game with hamza.:)Bowled him out for 43,i was 45 for 3 with about seven overs left.:)
Used a real attacking field with him,he couldnt handle it.
Thought i would give him a taste of his own medicine.
