This is Jasvinder Singh from PCNL Media I had a chance to speak with the Badass Blasters Skipper VC this is what he said

ME:What might be the reason that your teams dismal performance throughout the tournament?
VC:"The main reason is poor bowling. Our batting was good like we saw in the last match and the match before that but our bowling was terrible."

ME:Do think that you team will do well in the tests?
VC:"We'll try our best there."

ME:How is the practice session going?
VC:"Just fine. The players are training quite hard for the Tests."

ME:What are the areas that you are looking to improve in?
VC:"We are looking to improve in our bowling department. We have to bowl very well in order to take twenty wickets in a Test match."

ME:How tough are your opponents?
VC:"They are very competitive teams so we'll have to step up and perform well in all departments in order to beat them."

ME:"Name a few good players from the ODI series."
VC:"Loco Salihamid?ic, Niranjan.N.Gurupur and BlitzBerg Steel performed very well with the bat. Loco was good both behind and in front of the stumps. Unfortunately, no bowlers to name here."

ME:How is the environment in the dressing room?
VC:"Quite good. We're all very good friends."

ME:Have your players moved on from the trauma of their dismal performance in the ODI?
VC:"We've put all that behind us. Its time to focus on the upcoming Test matches now."

ME:Is your team still struggling with the opening combination?
VC:"Yeah, we have struggled a bit. We've tried two or three players in the No 1 position with the the consistent BlitzBerg being ever present at No 2. Niru struggled a bit there so we made him move down to No 4 where he's comfortable and settled now. Watson did well along with BlitzBerg but we had to replace him with Don Carlo for the sake of team balance and the latter didn't do too well there. I'm hoping that we can sort out those problems in the Test matches because opening partnerships are crucial there."

ME:Do you need any cheer leaders or any luck mascot like User2010 had one?
VC:"No, I don't."
