PCPL General Discussion

That ain't it. We believe there's something everything wrong with our rating. As we can see our pool A players playing the worst and not so active players of other teams playing better.

Um... That graph is so missing a team*

*yeah, that's right. The one you tried to defect to.
*recognized - a team with 34 replies and with no matches played is missing*

@All the people who are so much desperate to perform in this league: Why are you taking this simulation league so seriously? What will you get if you perform well? Will you receive an ICC award, if you score a century in every single PCPL match? By any chance, are you peeps planning to put down the achievements in your resumes?

Well, say I don't trust either of the trip who sim the matches, but what other option do I have, to have fun?

How often do you get to literally write down something like the following:
"I've managed to hit Muralidharan for a six" or "I bowled Adam Gilchrist out"?

I know, there is a question in your mind:
What do you have to do to win PCPL?
Ans:
You must be lucky to win PCPL.

You didn't do anything, but still you were lucky enough to hit Muralidharan for a six. Similarly, you must be lucky to win PCPL, not post gibberish all over to increase activity. And for god sake, don't be in an illusion that activity wins you matches. Activity doesn't guarantee a victory. Activity just guarantees three things:
1. Fun.
2. Fun.
&
3. More Fun.

PCPL is for fun.

Cheers.

PS: Nothing personal against anyone, but I felt I need to remind the basic thing which decides the winners of game- Luck.

I was reliably informed this was a serious competition for serious people, what is this "fun" people are now speaking about? Must I demand citations?

Don't believe Prithvi. He's lying.

You deserve a spot in CID. :spy

I had put my experience with Beijing Blitzers, Spin Wizards and Jager Bombers in my resume, they had roped me into the Mongolian Amateur Cricket Association as a sweeper ;) .

But... the corruption...[DOUBLEPOST=1441534409][/DOUBLEPOST]Also the amount of posts in a thread doesnt equal popularity. Us Slippers keep our thread nice and tidy and post everything we need to in the match threads and other teams threads.

P.S. Half the posts in the Amigos thread consists of everyone arguing amongst one another

When there are some players who fight like a kid for captaincy, we don't need to go far into their threads to see what's going on.

And he has the audacity to claim that luck is involved in the games. With @User2010 running the T20 championship and occupying a central spot in the management. As if him being promoted to an admin wasn't a clear sign..
