Bahawalpur Stags got off to a wonderful start with their top-order putting in the kind of shift a promotion playoff demands, but a complete failure of the middle order undid most of their good and allowed Islamabad Leopards to make come back into the gane. Dilshan Madushanka's double-wicket 35th-over really jolted the Stags, halting the ease with which they were keeping their scoreboard ticking. That is such a relief. We were inconsistent, but i think we had enough talent in our squad to deserve staying in the top flight. So glad that we were this clinical in the deciding match, looking forward to the next season now. The tweaks made in the last couple games really paid off.
