the only slight reservation i have about this is if the top 5 teams each season get an extra home game, this could sorta cause a greater inequality gap between top 5 and bottom 5 teamsAlso, I was thinking about giving each team a 2-point ratings buff for their home games as sort of an artificial home advantage since the OD sim doesn't really have that, unlike the Test sim. So unless I see an overwhelming negative response to this idea, I think I'm gonna go ahead and implement it.

That's a completely fair reservation to have, but the way I see it: for a team that's considered strong on paper, a 2-point ratings buff isn't really all that much. Whereas for a lower rung team, it's just enough of a boost to cause an upset. It helps a team that needs help more than it does a team that was already doing well, IMO.
