Plane crash in New York state

Fifty people have died after a US passenger plane crashed into a house in Buffalo, New York state.

The Continental Connection flight 3407 was five minutes from Buffalo airport when it came down at 2210 (0310 GMT).

Officials said there were no survivors from the 45 passengers and four crew on board the flight from Newark. One person on the ground also died.

Very sad news this.

I'd be interested to know if the plane still had it's tail though. I was watching Nat Geo the other day and a plane crashed on a Neighborhood hood and the tail was found miles away, and the engines a few blocks away. I hope someone got this on video, not in the sick way but as it always helps to see what the cause was.

They say there was fog and light snow but I wonder how much wind there was? In one Air Crash investigation a plane just fell from the sky, and it happened because of a wind force against the plane, slowing it down resulting in the wings stalling and the plane just dropping. I watched it ages ago and I forget what happened but I think that was it.

This is a very sad news indeed. Quite a catastrophic event, I'm waiting for the investigation to finish for the news on how it crashed. What the eyewitnesses said though, is really shocking. One of them said before crashing the plane made unusual sounds, very loud, and then suddenly just went silent.

Really sad news. But what the witnesses say is a bit wierd.
