Start a new thread borncricketer.. And first what are the rules? u are not down on it yet!! I hope its a 20 over version as 10 overs are too small and 50 overs are too long!! Finals can be 50 overs. What are the fixtures? How do we decide the finalists if there is a clash between two teams, etc? After putting it all down, we can start it in a new thread

I dont know about the rules but i do know that we will play 20 overs. we will go from 5 teams to 4 teams. then to 2 teams and then the winner. i am not so sure that the finals should be 50 overs because that is too long. ok so here are the fixtures

5 to 4?? Why have a semifinal for a tournament that features only 5 teams? Like in the World Series, we can have league matches and then straightaway go to the finals!! Just a thought! Becoz going from 5 to 4 means only one team will be removed from the league format and 4 teams would be assured of a semifinal berth which would not make it really interesting.
