Bangladesh humiliate PCR as they romp past the 300 mark!!

The Bangladeshi batsmen did thier country proud today and showed why they are not to be underestimated, they really batted well, the PCR bowlers just didnt know how to handle such an onslaught and everyones figures took a bashing, what a cruel wakeup to the worl of International cricket this was, a real eyeopener. Maybee big headidness got the better of the pace attack after a win over the World XI but somehting just wasnt right, they were bowling in the wrong place and were punished for it. The PCR Batsman have it all to do now as they chase the total at a run rate out about 6.7 per over, a very tall order for such inexperience.

Things got pretty hostile out there!

The only two wickets to fall in these overs were in two balls, Mushfiqr Rahman fell just two runs away from his century, he tried to smack Pak.Cric into the stands and payed for it as the ball sailed stright up into the air, Briggesy pouched the catch under great pressure. Kahled Mahmud graced us with his prescence for just a single ball, he hammered a length ball down the ground, it went very flat and straight to Das Vicky on the boundary.

First ball duck it wasnt enough to stop the scoring! Too little too late!

A very poor bowling performance by the Rockers, dissapointing after their previous outing, now they need to get their heads down as batters and really get stuck in, early wickets will be very costly but they may fall due to a high run rate, it is unlikely that the PCR will win this match but anything can happen in the world of cricket, you feel that it a bit out of their reach though as it it a very, very big total, do they have the batting power, wait and see!!!

As a captain, I am dissapointed with our bowling effort there. Bangladesh obviously showed us what they are capable of today, but the one thing I am doing and what we all must do is remain positive. If we bat well which we are very capable of I believe we have the strength in debt to win this game despite the huge total. We have 11 talented cricketers to come in to bat and I believe 335 is getable on this pitch. Let us go out there and show them what we are made of! A special praise must go to das vicky for his fabulous bowling figures in and amongst some of the terrible ones but let us not be too down about that and now concentrate on winning the game!
