It could get complicated with promotion/demotion, though. having to wait for the other leagues to finish before starting the next one, it just postpones the delay.

I was thinking more along the lines of saying the competition doesn't start until week 10. Anyone knocked out by round 4/5 begins a 5-week competition, competing to be seeded for the main comp.

Why would people constantly want to play against the same people where the results would be more or less the same? Certain people here keep moaning about wanting to play against other teams and that would chase them away from here.

How about whoever is actually properly in charge (Syl if it has to) choses what we are going to do, and then we do it. If you don't like it you don't have to play

The poll will decide the format. If we have problems with who is running it we can have a vote for who people want to run the comp.
