Welcome to the match between Planet Cricket XI and West Indies. This is going to be a T20 match and we are hoping for a close counter between these two teams. Lets go to the centre for the pitch and weather report.
Weather Report:- Its looking overcast. There are 20% chance of raining but you can expect full 40 overs to be played here.
Pitch Report:-This pitch is looking dry. Few cracks are there and these cracks will open up as the game progresses and it will favor the spinners in the second innings so if I was the captain I would have chosen to bat first on this pitch, post a good total and then put pressure on the team chasing the total.
Toss:- Chris Gayle has the coin. He tosses it, Tom Baker calls heads and its heads.
Tom chooses to bat first.
Here are the line ups for both teams-
Planet Cricket will be hoping for a good start from their openers Oliver Holden and wicket keeper batsman Prithvi Raj. Then they will look forward to their middle order's performance especially to the performance by their captain Tom Baker. Then Planet Cricket will need a good bowling performance from their spinners in the form of Hedger and Muhammed. These two should lead the bowling from the front and the likes of Ambekar should keep the runrate down in the middle overs and restrict West Indies to win this match.
On the other hand we have the West Indies who's openers are big hitters. The names of these two openers are the captain Chris Gayle and David Williams. Chris Gayle is the only batsman in T20 history who has smashed a century. He is believed to be the most destructive batsman currently in the world of cricket and the bowlers of Planet Cricket will be aiming to take this really important wicket. Then the middle order consist of experienced players like Chanderpaul, Sarwan and the all rounder Dwayne Bravo and the West Indies will be hoping that they add some valuable runs to the chase. West Indies bowling consist of Jerome Taylor, Tonge , Roach, spinner Benn and all rounder Bravo. West Indies will be relying on the fast bowler, Taylor, Benn and Bravo and they will try to demolish the batting line up of Planet Cricket. WI will be trying to finish the game as soon as possible so the Planet Cricket will have to be really careful about these three bowlers.
We will take a short break and we will be back with the 1st Innings.
