Think its a great idea , as the online one rewards the guys with lots of games more than the ones that dont play as much.

Good idea. You should set very clear rules, though. What games count - only official tournaments or friendlies as well? Do all games count the same, whether it is a T10 or a test? What games count - only the ones against the other 15 in this thread, or against anyone on the forum?

I think it should be:

- Official tournaments only
- Any game
- Only against qualified members of this thread.

I was thinking of having the different formats separate from each other, so T20, ODI and Test Matches.

For now only official tournament games would count so everyone in them will automatically be part of the rankings provided they meet the minimum number of matches.

[In the long run (and this might be a bit optimistic of me) we could do the rankings based on all games between the ranked players or players that want to be part of the ranking system. This would only work if we had a FTP (Future Tours Program) in which each player has to play a series with the other players from the rankings at some point. A series could be something like 3 T20's, 1 ODI and 1 Test match. ]

Very good initiative. Appreciate the efforts guys. :thumbs:thumbs

Another thing we can do is all create a team that represents us. Then we all have our own thread with our stats. Only problem would be who gets who but I was thinking we could have a group of us who are active and we auction players to each team. Once that is done we create real fixtures with international matches. Players dont even have to be real we can even have it like Battrick where we vote for each international manager.

I dont think you have understood the concept of this thread. This is not a new league that requires an auction like the Ranji league. This takes into account our actual scores. Players will aim to be at the top of this list rather than the less meaningful DBC online rankings.

Right so i think i have had enough positive feedback to give this the go ahead, so this thread will be for the T20 rankings. I will take responsibility for these rankings.

I will draw up the rankings based on the on going IPL league once we have a few more guys who have played the minimum number of games. (Which is 5)

Currently i am the only one who has played 5 or more T20 tourny games, kushari and solomon are next with 4.

What's the advantage if having separate formats for each? We won't have a very large size if we split. And then we will have to consider leagues in other formats such as t10 and f5.

Shouldn't we just combine all formats of qualifying leagues?

There are two leagues that are already running (ipl and ranji) and two looking strong (Caribbean and ucc). We can combine them all?

I agree, we should have one consolidated list for last 20 Completed Online Matches....Anyway the number of active players are very less..Its not practical to have seperate T20/ODI & Test ranking..Just make it simple.

For each Win in a PC Competition League (Irrespective of format): 02 Point
For each Draw in a PC Competition League (Irrespective of format): 01 Point
For Loss in a PC Competition League (Irrespective of format): 00 Point

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I wil give this a little thought and give a respone later, little busy now. (Catching up on some sleep lol)

Here is the first table guys.

It is for T20 only and covers all games played by the mentioned players in the IPL, UCC and CC leagues. No surprise about who is number 1 and rightfully so.

I forgot to mention this table will also include t20 tour games covered in Rishabhs thread, so it includes the first t20 between India and New Zealand.

----------

Also this is just the first look of the table I will be adding some things to it, like recent form to include the last 5 results of each manager so for example Chaman's would be WWWWW and mine would be WLLWW.
