I am absolutely flattered for being nominated in tree categories. I didnt expect this. I am thrilled and hope I receive the Best Story Award. I wanted to snatch it from Siddarth (m_vaughan; sorry man, healthy competition only!).

And to the mods, I am not a new member in here. I joined in April 2003. Its just that I started posting more messages later. And also, I have received some reps for being a bit helpful (sorry if i sound pompous!) and i wish i can be removed from the new member nomination and be nominated for the helpful member nomination...

I think you deserve to win it. (Though I must say that Sriram has a very very good chance also). You have really put in a lot of effort in your story and have presented it really well.
Unfortunately, I no longer can put in as much time and effort in my story, as I could do probably a year back.

Its nice to see so many good stories around at the moment, and I wish everyone the best of luck.

I would have.. but there is a very tough challenger for you with 'borncricketer'. i might support him becoz of the volume of posts and the quality of the posts that he has. this is not to insult you as you too have good quality in your posts but he has a higher percentage!

Umm.....I'm 12 years old and I'm not in the young members thing!

The choosing of the young members was done using the birth date thing in the members profile. You hadnt set a year so no one knew how old you where.
