The matter is being sorted out CD.This happened mainly because most of the nominations happened much before the mod reshuffle.

I personally don't have any problems with talented people being nominated but if it's a criteria then it must be followed.

It is being applied but since both were promoted after the award nominations began they have been considered as members. Hence neither are in the running for best moderator due to it being unfair on them as they have only been doing the job for a few weeks.
