Yeah I was thinking about that, but I want to get through a whole season and if I post session updates it will take way too long.
I also want to focus more on the statistical side of things rather than matches, if you know what I mean.

I have decided I will just take the last guy as it has been more than 24 hours since the last sign up. If anyone still wants to participate just post your first and last name and then I will rename my guy after you. If anyone further wants to participate after that, still post your first and last name and you can take the youth players I get mid season.

Squad Introduction

The PlanetCricket squad features three England contracted players, who are G. Sim, P. Raj and G. Aggarwal. It also features Pakistani international A. Shreyas, who is their overseas player.

Most of the squad is on salaries of between 40,000 and 60,000, with the exception of a few players. The average salary of the squad, not including the three England contracted players is 56,900 which would be one of the highest out of any of the 18 counties.

Their highest paid player is T. Lerana who could make it into most county sides for just his batting or bowling, but if you add them together you have an exceptional all round cricketer. The counties lowest paid player is also their youngest, D. Veza. At just 21 years of age he is on a salary of 38,500, which is a huge amount for such a young player.

Most of the squads contract lengths are between 1 and 2 years, which can be shown by an average contract length throughout the whole squad of 1 and 2/3 years.

Only three squad members have contracts of 3 years. They are two of the England contracted players G. Sim and P. Raj, as well as T. Lerana who was only brought to the county this year.
