Also Riz I don't think the characters/members are based on what the players usually are in mafia games (that would be rather stupid), they're based on what the characters/members are like around the forum in general.

Just while we're talking of inactive people, Abhas has been worryingly quiet. This was his last post which was right after Vedarshi got hammered.

Strange thing to type and it was pretty outwith the context of the thread conversation at the time when he posted it. Possibly a required thing he had to post like sim's *cough cough* in the Pokemon mafia? Could he maybe be the SK?

Also I'm not sure why Zorax would post; "Still alive, boo yea!". He done the same thing last game when he was mafia, acting like he was going to get killed every night.

Why would I do any different if I was town?
The genius of my play...I act exactly the same when townie and mafia Mwuhahahaha.

Imma take a crack at analyzing these writeups now.

a) Whenever the crazy guy is mentioned, it's a mix of small and capital letters. crAzY, cRaZy, etc. Probably just for effect...but who do we know that posts like that? He's probably the bus driver.

The serial killer is referred to as 'this guy was also pretty crazy, and desperately seeking power' I personally think the serial killer character is me tbh So we should lynch whoever role-claims Zorax.

b) Trapping at bar...casino. Some sort of roleblocker/role protector guy? Who hangs around there a lot, ie mod or admin of that are?

c) The mafia have recruited.

He had a double role to do at night. He was looking for one particular person he knew was here somewhere.... ah was that him?! He tapped him on the shoulder and lo behold it was him! His target joined their secretive group and began plotting.

Clearly cult/mafia recruitment. However after that:

With that done, he began to look for his other target. When he found him, he was unprotected and was easily dispatched of. "That's one important guy gone, never to bother us again!" he thought as he crept away again.

So it's Mafia.

d) We have a bus driver who helped us kill a Mafia member...I think. The SK tried to kill the guy who was swapped with Hedger on the first night.

e) Virus = Poisoning IMO. And we've lost Yudi, who was the healer, so whoever was poisoned is gonna die.

f) This is interesting:

Last night he had been successful in finding someone who he thought was dangerous to him and his side. Tonight he decided that he would put an end to his life, and perma-banned that person. "He would not trouble them ever again!" he thought, as he went back to bed, safe in the suspicion that he had ended the life of someone who had been plotting against him.

We have a cop who has a killing role? Very very interesting. Probably a one-shot kill...but a Cop Vigilante would be an epic role. BarmyArmy or someone of that sort I think. He might be able to only either investigate or kill. Might have had a one shot kill. Anyways, he screwed up on night 2...will be interesting to see what he does soon.

g)

He was seeking power and was preparing to kill whoever for that power. The previous night he hadn't killed his intended target, and so he decided to try again tonight. To his surprise, there was someone standing outside the subforum where his target was hiding, keeping watch! "Darn it," he thought. "I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow night. As they say, third time lucky..."

SK blocked by Doctor. Good stuff.

h) The Mafia's target was bus drivered again. Quite impressive IMO. He's figured out who the mafia has tried to target twice in a row.


No inclination if the roleblocker is townie or mafia. But there is one. And a bus driver. And our cop can kill.

Yea.

Interesting to note that several good players are still alive - BKB, Papa_Smurf, Ollie, Abhas, myself. A mix of clever play by the mafia to keep good players alive - so they can turn suspicion onto them later in the game with the simple 'why hasn't the mafia killed you yet', and that the mafia team is probably quite strong. Mad, riz, P_Squared...

I'm liking this. Gonna be fun digging up for clues.

Lynching MaD at the moment seems like the only lead we have, everyone playing smart and keeping their cards to their chest. However massive FOS on the leaders of the lynch (Papa_Smurf, Sim, Ollie, Afridirulez). Tue that Smurf, Sim and Afridi were all anti-town last game and the odds of them being anti-town again are farily slim; and that this would be a massively risky maneuvre if they were anti-town. MaD isn't even that good. But Papa_Smurf is a clever one...last game's move was incredibly risky too but so nearly came off.

Which is another point...we must watch out for the mafia repeating what happened last game. Instigate lynch on one of your own, and remove all suspicion from yourself.

No one is safe here. No one can be trusted.

Alright, i'm the Survivor, because I have been banned a number of times for multiple offenses but keep coming back for more. Also, I try my hardest to undermine the system, and so I'm also the Bus Driver.

I'd just like to start a form of protocol to stop everyone getting confused. If you are talking about a member who is currently playing the game, post their name normally. If you are talking about a possible character in the game either use the italics or underline code or both to make it obvious and so we don't get confusion.

For example, If someone was posting about Yudi (just a name from someone dead) they could say: 'I think Yudi is mafia because of the suspicious nature of his posting'

But if you were talking about character Yudi they could now say: 'I think Yudi is most likely to be a miller because he is always town but always manages to place suspicion on himself.'

Hopefully by using that we will be able to differentiate between who people mean and stop confusion. If it's completely obvious then there is no point in doing, if you are talking about someone like Jake, Blake or BarmyArmy then you don't need to do it as we all know they aren't playing the game.

So since you've now roleclaimed as the bus driver MaD, have you found out any useful information regarding the mafia, as the bus driver has definitely appeared in the write-ups so far and has changed a few targets around etc.

Tbh you might as well just say what you've done over the two nights.

I reckon you have backed yourself up pretty well, might be a good idea if someone protects MaD tonight if they have that role. I agree with Spoobir, I said it a few pages back, I am really suspicious of Abhas, so......

I think <aD's claim etc. does add up.

You'd think Mark would be in the game, and it kind of makes sense if Mark's the survivor. On top of that MaD's also claimed the bus driver, in which we pretty much know there's one in the game, and no one has counterclaimed atm.

I'll go back and look at who jumped on the MaD bandwagon etc. now, and see if that will get us anywhere.

You seem to be pretty lucky dont you think MaD. Your roleclaiming doesnt change much, I mean that was a very suspectible post considering mafia found their man on night 1.

I will stress again on the fact that the healer should try and find the guy whos poisoned. The mafia are going to use this power quite often..

Firstly we need to see if someone counter claims his bus driver claim, because going from the write-ups there looks to be one.

It does add up, but then again fake role claims need to add up for people to believe them.

@BKB - The healers dead so unless there is two or someone else has been given that role then there isn't much the town can do to save them.
