That's very good Will. You deserve a lot of credit for that.

Thats really good wil for a first try, keep it up. The only thing you could do is use a circular selection for the ball as well as feathering more on certain occasions, top work though!

Well I use the pen tool and zoom in to about 200%.

I don't understand how the pen tool works so I use the freehand selection tool, feathered to 2 pixels most of the time.
