A powerful batting display from Titans as they amass a formidable 319/9 at the end of their innings. Dikshansh led from the front and top-scored for Titans with a near-run-a-ball 71 in a knock which included 6 fours and 2 sixes. Nidhish Adhikari's watchful 55 (off 77 deliveries) provided a great footing for Titans in the middle of the innings, but it was definitely Chris Swift's unabashed stroke-play that stole all the limelight away from Dikshansh and Adhikari. He smashed 68 off just 44 deliveries with the aid of 8 fours and 2 sixes. A similar tactic was adopted by Ashutosh K. Kushwaha, who played a spicy little cameo down the order. However, constant flow of wickets might've prevented Titans from achieving an even more intimidating total.
Titans had a strong showing with their top and middle-order batters, but their lower-order failed to deliver big, perhaps with the possible exception of Ashutosh K. Kushwaha's short-lived antics. Washington Sundar ran rampant on Titans' lower-order, which at times, seemed a bit too eager to clear the boundary. An in-form spinner on a cracked, dry wicket stunted Titans progress and undercut their finish considerably. Save for Washington Sundar's figures of 4 for 24, Sunrisers Hyderabad's bowling card wasn't all that pleasing to the eye.

A troubled outing for Sunrisers Hyderabad as they crash to an 82-run drubbing at the hands of Titans at their own backyard. Eesala Cupnamde led the pack for Titans with a 4-fer to mirror Washington Sundar's from the first innings. Even with a bowling effort pretty similar to the opposition's best bowler, it was a failing middle-order display from Hyderabad that ended up being the biggest difference maker between the two teams. The likes of Babar Azam, Rahul Tripathi, Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar contributed a grand total of 40 runs combined. With Hyderabad's middle-order in ruins, there wasn't much hope for them despite Deepak Hooda providing a foundational hundred up-top.
Eesala Cupnamde's 4-wicket haul may be the highlight of the innings for Titans, but Ashutosh K. Kushwaha definitely had the more impactful spell. In one single over, he got rid of Babar Azam and Rahul Tripathi to completely turn the gun on Hyderabad at a time when they were cruising along at 138 for 1. What transpired next can best be described as Titans tightening their grip on the game with their bowling might against a faltering batting order. No batter following skipper Rishabh Pant managed to even put up a fight as Hyderabad plummeted to an 82-run drubbing.
