How many retentions allowed per team? Pretty surprised that teams are leaving out a player like Pardeep Narwal!

Teams are having a purse of INR 4.4Crore and allowed to retain upto 6 elite players and upto 4 young players.

Last season Pardeep Narwal was sold at 1.65Cr and to retain him it will take much of their available purse.

Pretty understandable then.

Here's the Big Stories from the auction:
The Record-Breaker's record of being the most expensive player of PKL History got broken twice yesterday by ex-Haryana raider Vikash Kandola bagging 1.70 Crore goes to Bengaluru Bulls and his record too broken within 15 minutes by Last 3 seasons Best Raider Pawan Kumar Sehrawat who bags 2.26 Crore and goes to Tamil Thalaivas in a bidding war with UMumba leaving no chances for Bulls to excise their FBM.

And Now Pawan Sehrawat is the most expensive player of PKL history and only player to cross the mark of 2 Crore.

Pardeep Narwal
being a bit unlucky as he wanted to go to his former coach Ram Mehar Singh's new team Gujarat Giants, they tried to get him but at final bid of 90Lakhs, UP Yoddhas excised their FBM (Final Bid Match) Card and got him for 90 Lakhs with good bargain as they'd to pay him around 1.90 Cr if they retained him.

The Sultan Fazel Atrachali from Iran becomes the most expensive defender and foreign player bags 1.38 Crore goes to Puneri Paltan.
